Simone began singing at the age of 8 starting with musical theater. Over the years, she developed her skills further by attending a performing arts Hybrid-Highschool and later attending Berry College as a Voice Major. She gained performance experience in the Marietta/Smyrna/Douglasville area by playing at such venues as coffee houses and local city/county events and with acts such as Accapella Duo, Jazz Ensemble, band, soloist, and musical theater. Though Simone can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorites are aria, musical theater, soul, and singer-songwriter which had great influence on her style of playing. Simone loves music because it tells a story and loves teaching music because gives a platform for self-expression.
