He did not begin playing the piano until the age of 19, and continued his education by pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University. His musical influences include the Classical and Romantic western art music. Randy's favorite thing about music is its ability to heal and lift the soul, and his favorite thing about teaching music is watching people absorb and learn new things.
