Michael began playing guitar at the age of 18. Over the years, he developed his skills further by teaching himself and playing in many bands. He gained performance experience in the Albuquerque and Seattle area by playing at such venues as The Launchpad, Amped, The Compound, Central Saloon, Chop Suey, High Dive etc. and with acts such as Lydia and The Big Spank. Though Michael can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Alternative and Classic Rock which had great influence on his style of playing. Michael loves music because it is such a beautiful and powerful language. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Michael can help you expand and enhance your playing.
