My name is Joy and I am a singer/songwriter from San Diego CA. I have been singing all my life and teaching music for the past 20 years in one capacity or another. I am a bubbly, energetic person whose main purpose in life is to bring joy to the world! Music is the world language and speaks to all hearts. I hope to bring that joy and energy in every teaching experience. Look forward to working with you! I have been a professional singer for 18 years. I was the AR person for a production company for two years. Taught voice lessons for several years at a music academy and privately for a few years. Been writing music since i was a teenager and love teaching music to children and adults. I was the assistant PT leader for 3 years and the yourh choir director for 2 years.

Breathing exercises, vocal warm ups, singing, and home work assignments. All else depends on the student and what they are trying to accomplish

I have taken music theory as well as vocal training courses.
Performing Experience:
I have performed all over the US and Canada. I have been performing at local venues churches banquets and weddings for over 20 years.
Experience Teaching:
I have 6 years of one on one vocal teaching and several more with groups and choirs and preparing vocalists for studio sessions.
