About Me
Jordanis an award-winning guitarist from Milwaukee, WI, based in Miami, FL. Since picking up the guitar at age eight, Jordan has studied a myriad of guitar styles, namely jazz, rock and blues. Jordan’s guitar style is both visceral and reflective, a lyrical blend of influences from John Coltrane to Jimi Hendrix. As first place winner of the 2016 Wilson Center Guitar Competition, Jordan had the opportunity to open for guitar legend Al Di Meola. Throughout high school, Jordan also earned several other distinctions, including being a two-time winner of the Jazz Unlimited best overall musician scholarship. He was also selected as a member of the Berklee Jazz All-Stars during their summer five-week program. As a student at the University of Miami Frost School of Music, Jordan had the opportunity to perform with Grammy-winning trumpeter Brian Lynch and master pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, as well as studying under master guitarist John Hart and Grammy-winning artist John Daversa. He earned his Bachelors in Jazz Guitar Performance in 2019. Since graduating from college, Jordan has performed throughout the Miami area with various acts including America's Got Talent winner Landau Eugene Murphy and jazz singer Yamit Lemoine. In 2020 Jordan began studying under saxophone master George Garzone. He also taught music in public and private elementary schools in Miami-Dade County during the 2 school year. The first single by Jordan’s musical project Organicism is available everywhere July 1st, 2020.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I want my students to develop an emotional connection to the sounds they are making. I want them to understand the music on a theoretical level, but more importantly a visceral level. The sounds should become part of them, just like language. I like to focus on learning songs and melodies by ear, guitar technique, singing intervals, and reading music. I strive to provide students a comprehensive understanding of the music being played and a strong grasp of fundamentals.
