Hi, my name is Katia and I am a soprano with a Performance Certificate in Opera and Solo Vocal Performance from CU-Boulder. I have studied music my whole life, starting with piano and eventually moving to voice. My teaching style can best be described as grounded. My goal as a teacher is to help each student find their unique voice and sound, and I do that through building confidence and body awareness. In my lessons, you can expect to make a lot of weird sounds and explore the instrument inside you! My favorite thing about teaching is watching the sense of accomplishment my students feel when they figure something out.
