About Me

Joseph began playing saxophone at the age of 14. Over the years, he developed his skills further by attending Northeastern State University and the University of Central Oklahoma for Jazz Studies and Music Production. He gained performance experience in the OKC/Tulsa area by playing at such venues as the UCO Jazz Lab and with acts such as John Daversa and Donny McCaslin. Though Joseph can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins and Hank Mobley which had a great influence on his style of playing. Joseph loves music because he wants to make people happy and loves teaching music because he wants to pass on the knowledge he learned from his mentors to younger generations. For saxophone, they will learn proper saxophone fundamentals including articulation, vibrato, phrasing, and scales. In the students have an interest for jazz, we will be listening and learning standards along with learning the jazz language. If the student decides to learn jazz, he will also be learning the piano.

What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce

- Intermediate - Advanced

Learning the basics of Pro-tools and post-production mixing. How to use Pro-tools from editing to the use of plug-ins.
