Mara began playing violin at the age of 6. Over the years, she developed her skills further by attending private lessons, solo recitals, and playing in college level ensembles during her middle school years. Though Mara can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are from the Suzuki violin school which had great influence on her style of playing. Mara loves music because its a great way to express yourself and loves teaching music because she wants everyone to have the opportunity to share the experiences that come with knowing an instrument.
