Ola A.

Ola has always loved music. Growing up in church, I would run away from to children's church just to watch the drummer in the main church play. I would say that was the start of a journey that has lasted over 20 years and counting. Today, while I decided not to pursue a full-blown career in music, that passion has not dwindled. I have played in several concerts and regularly play in churches. I particularly love gospel drumming because it embellishes elements of different genres of music. I have taught different categories of students; Children, Teenagers and Adults both on group and individual basis over a span of 5 years. I enjoy teaching African rhythms, R&B, Soul and Contemporary Jazz fusion. Whether you are at the beginner to intermediate level, my biggest satisfaction is to work with my students grow musically and achieve their musical goals.
