Maria began singing at the age of 5. Over the years, she has developed her skills further by taking vocal lessons and performing. She gained performance experience on stage, theater and recording studio. Performing for over 30 years in the South Florida area by playing at concert venues as well as a Cirque du Soleil style traveling show called “Cirque Dreams” where she was the “Musical Muse” singing to various circus acts trapeze, rope, contortionists and with acts such as Sister Sledge, Selena, and many more. Though Maria can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are country pop, Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt, which had great influence on her style of singing. Maria loves music because she believes it is a God-given gift meant to be shared with others and loves teaching music because it is her way to serve.
