About Me

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am a soprano from Cypress. I have been a student of music for 18 years. My musical influences include Kristen Chenoweth, Sutton Foster, Megan Hilty, and Sierra Boggess and I also enjoy a handful of pop artists as well. My teaching style can best be described as inspirational. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I wish to inspire my students to pursue their dreams. In my lessons, you can expect to learn proper voice technique, basic music theory, and how to best utilize your voice. I like to tell my students that anyone can sing but in order to be great you must have passion. My favorite thing about teaching is bringing people's dreams to life. I thoroughly enjoy performing in musicals. My students love that I encourage them in all they do. I primarily teach musical theatre and classical styles, but I can also teach contemporary or pop styles. My approach as a teacher is to build confidence in my students.
