April has always loved music from an early age. She began playing piano at the age of 18 and continued her education by attending Grambling State University and graduating in Music Performance. Her musical influences include Mozart, Bach, Bartók, and many more. April's favorite thing about music is composition and her favorite thing about teaching music is passing the knowledge along to others. One of her favorite teaching experiences was a few years back when she was teaching a student that didn't have any knowledge at all of a piano. When the student began to play songs, it meant the world to April for the progress of the student.
