I have been playing since I was 17 years old. I started in Key West Fl, playing for several different blues bands. Because of my solid work ethic I received lots of work playing and soon became a Bass instructor when the owner of the local music store saw me play. I have a rock solid method of teaching Blues Theory but I can also play/teach anything from Rock, Funk, Soul, and a little Jazz. I have worked within 3 different school districts as a substitute teacher so my background is clean and my experience with students is vast. After 3 years of "Subbing" and trying to find a real fulltime teaching job, I found I was not having any luck. This is because i only have a BA in English and my competition all had Education degrees. I do not have any "official" degrees in music but I have been performing on stage and singing both guitar and bass for 20 plus years.
