About Me

Kaylyn, a mezzo-soprano from Cape Coral, FL, is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, earning her Bachelors in Music Performance from the Bower School of Music and the Arts. She has performed across Southwest Florida with the FGCU chamber choir, Gulfshore Opera, Opera Naples, SW FL Symphonic Chorale, and as a soloist with First Presbyterian Church of Naples. She also had the opportunity to perform abroad in Austria and The Czech Republic with the FGCU chamber choir. Some of her recent roles include Cousin Hebe in HMS Pinafore, Dater #3 and Dater #9 in Speed Dating Tonight!, Flower 2 in Rappaccini's Daughter, and Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. Her accomplishments include receiving the Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence, a Superior at National Fine Arts Festival in Detroit, MI and Superior with Honors at National Fine Arts Festival in Orlando, FL. She looks forward to helping her students explore their talents in music and preparing them for performances, auditions, or just improvment on basic techniques.
