About Me
Hi my name is Nathan, I am a musician in the boulder area looking to teach beginner to intermediate music lessons in the Boulder area! I am 19 years old and I currently work as a baker to make ends meet but my true passion is and always will be music. I have had extensive music training playing euphonium and tuba all through my high school experience, including music theory and private lessons. I have also been playing the drums for 8+ years focusing mainly on classic rock and heavy metal. I can teach the drums remotely or in person. I can do lessons in my private drum studio but I will warn you that it is fairly small.

Beginner - Intermediate
I can do lots of classic rock and heavy metal drumming for intermediate players, and can teach fundamentals to strengthen specific skills in any genre. Rudiments are a big part of beginner lesson plans as well as learning how to keep tempo and rhythm. I can work at any pace you would like me to.
Formal Education:
I have a high school diploma.
Private Education:
I was taught music theory and music performance by Jill Brooks and Doug Black from Winthrop University in South Carolina.
Performing Experience:
I have played in many concert/orchestral performances, I have also performed with different bands on drums at small gigs.

I don't have any professional teaching experience but I have always loved to teach friends how to play music and different instruments!
