Heather began playing French Horn at the age of eight. Over the years, she developed her skills further through her Principle Horn position for The University of Nebraska at Omaha with a major in Music Education. She also acted as Associate Principle Horn for the Nebraska Wind Symphony. She gained performance experience in the metropolitan area by playing at such venues as The Holland, First Presbyterian Church, University of Nebraska Lied Center, and The University of Nebraska at Omaha Recital hall with acts such as live solos and ensemble performances. Though Heather can teach several genres of music, her musical personal favorite is classical which had great influence on her style of playing. Heather loves music because music has always been a part of her life, and loves teaching music because she hopes to instill her passion for music in others.
