Rodrekus began playing drums at the age of seven. Over the years, he developed his skills further by books and marching band. He gained performance experience in the jazz area by playing at such venues as Church Hill Grounds. Though Rodrekus can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are neosoul which has great influence on his style of playing. Rodrekus loves music because it therapy and loves teaching music because it's better to give than receive.
