Lauran has been singing and performing since the age of two and holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts from Dallas Baptist University. She has five years of experience teaching music and theater at Newman International Academy in Mansfield and has offered private vocal lessons on and off since 2018 as well. Lauran is active in the local musical theater scene, has been involved in various collegiate and community choirs (both classical and gospel), and leads worship at Antioch Community Church in Fort Worth. Lauran stands out as a performer and teacher because of her versatility in styles. She grew up singing everything from Broadway show tunes to gospel music to popular radio and pop hits. She is also formally trained in classical music and opera. Lauran's unique, musical background motivates her to personalize lessons for each student based on their individual talent and goals, while also encouraging them to step outside the box in order to open their mind and grow in their experiences and abilities. Individualized lessons that are specialized for each student according to their talent, level, and goals that include an integration of vocal warm-ups, knowledge and instruction in proper singing technique, as well as help in building a repertoire and fine-tuning pieces for students to sing and perform with confidence and excellence.
