Hi, my name is Jesse and I am a guitarist from San Antonio. I have been a student of music for 20+ years. My musical influences include artists ranging from progressive rock to country; I also enjoy blues and classical. My teaching style can best be described as informal, but knowledgeable and practical. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I guide students to fulfill their potential through lessons on scales, arpeggios, chords and their stylistic counterparts. In my lessons, you can expect to learn methods and theory from various styles of music. I will also instruct students on the use of different amplifiers, effects pedals as well as the contrasts between various guitar types. I like to tell my students to be patient; slow is smooth, smooth is fast. My favorite thing about teaching is watching students grow as a musician. My favorite live performance is "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room"-John Mayer. I primarily teach rock and country, but I can also teach classical and blues.
