Hello! My name is U Yin and I am a piano teacher from Malaysia. I have been playing the piano for 25 years. I obtained my 8th-grade ABRSM certificate and passed with distinction 10 years into playing the piano. I have been in the United States for 10 years now. During my time here, I played with the Orchestra at Arkansas State University. My musical style is classical and I also enjoy pop music. I like to coach my students and implement activities in their learning. My favorite thing about teaching is to see my students improve and fall in love with music. What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
My students should expect for me to play an example and to receive coaching as they learn the piece themselves. In addition, I incorporate rhythm percussion instruments activities to help teach rhythm during theory sessions. My students will have clear communication and know what is expected to be covered in the following lessons so that they can properly prepare in between our sessions.
