About Me

Hi the name’s Nicholas, I recently moved over here from New York. I started playing percussion when I was in middle school. Up until around 11th grade I played mostly mallets and latin percussion, never really focusing on kit. Then one day I just sat down behind a kit and loved it. I decided it’s what I’m going to do for the rest of my life. So I’ve practiced around 6-7 hours a day since then. I went to college for music for a year but didn’t agree with the direction i was being pushed towards and left. I use that as motivation for me to teach my students what they want to learn and help them grow the way they want to. I’ve been giving private lessons for close to two years when I lived back in New York and I love it. I will help you get to where you want to be in your playing.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons

- Intermediate - Advanced

Students can expect to be challenged in different ways and concepts every lesson. Each lesson will be based off of Pad Work Warm Ups Exercise of the Week I will give out a list of rudiments to work on Chart of the Week I will give out either a drum chart to read off of based off of reading skill level, or a drum track to work on and play for me. Your Questions’ basically anything you need me to look at or teach you how to play, this is when. We will go over and work through whatever you are currently working on Pad Work to cool down Plans for the Next Lesson
