Hi, my name is Aaliyah, and I am a Violinist from San Antonio, TX. I have been a student of music for 12 years. My musical influences include classical with a mixture of R&B and Hip hop and I also enjoy classical jazz. My teaching style can best be described as patient and fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I make sure that notes/pitch are taken into action as well as incorporating technique to improve playing. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to play the correct intonation and to work on your pitch. My favorite performance was when I performed Praleudium and Allegro on stage. I memorized this and it was not an easy song so this was an accomplishment for me. I primarily teach violin. My approach as a teacher is to see where the student is at with their given talent and enhance it to where they can improve overall as a violinist. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
