I have over 25 years experience teaching vocals and instrumental music. With a Masters degree in Music Education, I have worked with choirs, small groups and individual settings. I am classically trained in voice and piano, and efficient with brass and woodwind instruments. My students range from beginning to advanced, ages five and up. Having an education background I emphasize knowledge, (knowing) and understanding the voice, musical style and the instrument. My goal is for my students to connect to the music thus producing a personal style of performing the music. My teaching style is one that lets the music connect to you through teaching my student how to connect to the music. Many people can sing. Many people can perform... it’s the personal connection to the performance that makes the difference.

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
If you are an instrumental student, you will learn to read music, follow Music, Music notation understand the musical language and music theory. Vocal students will also learn the basics of reading music and music notation. How to sing expressively and how to develop your musical style.
