Tyler has always loved music from an early age. He began playing percussion at the age of 13 and continued his education by taking part in various projects including: musical theater, audio engineering, attending conferences, as well as being in various groups. His musical influences include Robert Searight II Snarky Puppy, Alvin Ford Jr. Ghost Note, John Stanier Battles, and John Bonham Led Zeppelin. Tyler's favorite things about music are the connections it creates, and the unpredictability of it, and his favorite thing about teaching music is being able to share those things.
