Hi, my name is Jong Hoon and I am a graduate from GMU. I have been a student of music for 10+ years. My musical influences include Bach to New Age Composers and I also enjoy Church Music. My teaching style can best be described as friendly but demanding. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I like to make sure the students feel inspired enough to practice, but still have fun while at it. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic techniques to more complicated pieces ranging from classical to pop. My favorite thing about teaching is that I get to see students improve and to have them discover the joy of music. My students love that I hold them accountable, also for my corny puns.
