James has always loved music from an early age. He began playing drums and piano at the age of 8 and continued his education through High School and went on to receive a Bachelors of Jazz Studies at The Ohio State University. His musical influences include classical, jazz, rock and all styles in between. James favorite thing about teaching music is watching his students grow to not only a fine drummer but a well rounded musician.
