What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students should expect weekly assignments consisting of practicing scales, chords, note degrees & more. Students should expect weekly check-ins with guardians to share their growth and suggestions will be made on how to help at home in positive fun ways. Students will be required to take notes & must always come prepared with a pen/pencil & paper. This will be important Throughout their musical development. Students should expect quizzes.
Formal Education:
5+ yrs Self Taught. 10+ years tuba, trumpet & baritone player, through elementary to high school & some college.
Private Education:
One on one piano mentorship.
Performing Experience:
20+ years performing experience through jazz band, wind enesemble, tours, concerts, symphonic band, marching band(HS & College), weddings, parties, DJ’n, private shows using acoustic piano & more
Experience Teaching:
6+ years teaching choirs and bands as a Music Director for several churches, private lessons, & mentorship.
