Hi, my name is Johnathan, a college student attending California State University Los Angeles, and music education major. My formal study’s begun in middle school where I was given a violin. Upon arriving to high school, I experimented with many instruments and decided to stick with the cello. Ever since then, I’ve been with the cello! I firmly believe that every student deserves the best from us; the instructors. As musicians, many of us are very kind, however, I also believe that a high level of professionalism is required alongside encouragement. With both alongside each other, I believe that students will fall for their instrument and want to perform repertoire that requires a high level of technique and discipline.
