Rachel originally from Staten Island, NY, picked up a guitar at the age of 15 and almost never put it down! She has since invested thousands of hours rehearsing and preforming. By the age of 16, Rachel was playing professionally and hired for local gigs, playing with musicians older and more experienced. She has immersed herself in all styles and genres, but is most passionate about Gospel and R&B. She has recently obtained her bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Guitar Performance, where she was the lead guitarist for the Jazz Ensemble for 4 years. Passionate about helping others fall in love with music, Rachel brings energy and enthusiasm to teaching that is unmatched.
