Hi, my name is James and I am a saxophone player from Alexandria, Va. I have been playing music for 15 years and would love to pass some knowledge around. I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelors of Music focusing on Jazz Performance. There I had several amazing private teachers who shaped my philosophy on teaching. If you are not enjoying private lessons, then I’m doing something wrong! I am heavily influenced by jazz, but I enjoy all types of music and will tailor each lesson based on the needs/wants of the student. If you are looking for an energetic and fun teacher, I’m your guy!
