James began playing the guitar at the age of 10 Over the years, he developed his skills further by playing with several recording artist all over the country. He gained performance experience in the country and rock area by playing at such venues as major concert venues with acts such as Joe Walsh, Patti LaBelle and Buddy Guy to name a few. Though James can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are country and rock which had great influence on his style of playing. James loves music because it's the most powerful language there is and loves teaching music because helping someone give life to their own musically journey is incredible.
