Well, I started playing when I was 14. First, I started playing Grunge, then I went on to classical. My best friend is a breakdancer so I started to develop my own kind of style. We would perform in parks. He got me out of my “shy zone.” Then I played with a very talented artist Selwyn Birchwood, a blues musician who made it to the charts. I played in ybor for a bit. A couple of bars. The main thing I learned about music is that it’s for you. It’s a feeling that eats at you until you are finally able to hear it through song. I can teach you chords, arpeggios, music theory but if you do not have that passion then why play at all?
