About Me
I am a retired (former military) disabled aircraft mechanic, work part time as a desk clerk/college student (have associate's degree, working toward bachelor's).
I taught grades 01-09 for 1 year as teacher's aide and substitute at St. James Episcopal and Eagle Charter Schools. I am awaiting an opening to return to teaching as substitute.
I am also a somewhat accomplished guitar slinger!!
Over my guitar playing career, I have been in several bands---two separate bands winning local battle of the bands competitions!!
I am an old school player, and have an extensive library of tunes I know by heart, mostly learned from tablature---I even know a few classical tunes.
If you have any guitar students in the Del Rio/Eagle Pass/Brackettville area I would welcome them. I have two amps and 5 guitars, so no epuipment is necessary on the student's part

Kevin Ko is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Vocal Lessons .Formal Education:
I played clarinet in school band and sang in high school choir. I have an associate's in general studies from Central Texas College. I am currently enrolled in psychology classes and in process of transferring to UT at El Paso.
Private Education:
I have taken piano and keyboard lessons.
Performing Experience:
In the 7 or so bands I've been in over the years, probably totaling more than 100 shows, the biggest crowd was estimated at 10,000.
Experience Teaching:
I taught Jr. High and High School for more than 1 year in early 2000's and trained aircraft mechanics for the USAF in 1990's.
