Review About Me
I have been playing guitar for 15 years and music is my greatest passion. I grew up in the suburbs north of New York City with plenty of rock tunes, Jewish singing, banjo, and other music accompanying my youth. I have self-taught, took many years of private lessons, and had formal training in a Jazz conservatory setting. I have recently moved out to California and I'm looking to teach a little bit to supplement my jazz and rock gigs.

I played guitar in Nyack High School Jazz Band. I graduated from the State University of New York at Purchase with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2008. I studied with John Abercrombie.
Private Education:
I took private guitar lessons 1995-2002 in Nyack,NY with my father Jeff Hoffman, Chip Larison, and Brian Babcock.

Experience Teaching:
I taught for Music to Your Home in Congers NY '06-09. Private lessons taught in the student's home for half an hour or an hour. Beginner to intermediate children ages 4-13. I taught private bass lessons taught in White Plains, NY '08.
