Jake is an active percussion educator throughout the Chicago area. Jake earned his bachelor of Music Education degree from VanderCook College of Music. He has been taught by many great educators such as Kevin Lepper, Bret Kuhn, Jim Yakas, Tom Gilman and Adam Hill. He was a member of Pioneer Indoor for three years (2) playing in the snareline. In 2014 and 2015 the ensemble earned a silver medal in the WGI World Championship Open class finals. Jake has worked with many highschools such as Alan B Shepard, Benet Academy, Evergreen Park and Romeoville. Jake is currently the Battery Caption Head at Romeoville High School.
