My name is Abbey. Music has always been my passion. I love seeing kids grow a love for music. My parents put me in voice lessons when I was 10 years old because I loved to sing but was absolutely terrible at it! Through the years of voice lessons, my range and ability grew tremendously. It grew so much that I get solos in choir concerts and even got into music school! Music has changed my life and I want to help other experience that as well.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
In my lessons, we will start with basics of pitch, etc. I will also start with the fundamentals of reading music. I am always happy for students to bring the music they want to sing! But I also would like them to be open to the music I give them, having a wide range of genres you can sing makes you a much better musician! My key focus in every lesson is to help students grow in a love for music!
Formal Education:
I have had 10 years of formal vocal training and 2 years of college including music education classes, educational psychology, and vocal pedagogy. I have also taught beginner piano for over a year now.
Private Education:

Performing Experience:
I have had 7 years of choir performances, I had solos in many concerts. I also have been in a musical, Les Miserables. I was in my church band as a soloist for 8 years as well.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught a choir of 140 students and worked with quite a few individually based on their needs. I worked with a non-profit organization that brought music to low-income areas of Louisville, KY.
