35 Years
Les has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 14 and continued his education by studying classical and jazz guitar in high school and college. His musical influences include Brian May, Neal Schon, Eddie Van Halen, and just about all rock from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Les's favorite thing about music is being able to express yourself creatively and the connection you have with others through music. Les's favorite thing about teaching music is sharing his experiences and knowledge with others. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when teaching a friend who was struggling to understand how modes were connected, Les diagrammed how the different mode patterns overlap and his friend had an "Ah-Ha" moment and finally understood and got really excited. When taking lessons with Les you can expect to learn at your own pace based on your interests and desires and Les has the ability to teach technical concepts in easy and creative ways. He looks forward to getting to know you as a student and learning about your specific goals, interests, and learning style. Book a lesson now and get connected right away!
