I took classes in Film Orchestration and guitar performance with maestro Irwin Stahl, protege to Arturo Toscannini and Art Tatum.

My 1st public performance was at 16 years old performing with Howlin' Wolf and his band. I performed with several regional bands in college covering New Wave, Funk, and avant garde styles. Toured with the Soul/R&B/Top 40 band Soulsation after college. In the late 80's I arranged,recorded produced and performed with synth-pop band "role Models" and performed with rock act "Caught in the Act". I spent the rest of the 80's into the early 90's as a jingle writer, recording engineer, sound editor, and an audio tech. The last 15 years or so I have been a blues guitarist, playing with various band in LA and the IE.

I taught for five years during and after college, mostly young adults but a few older folks as well. I aught 15 people altogether; peaked at seven students concurrently before I moved to NY. I have had sporadic success getting students in the high desert.
