Hello, my name is Carrie. I began playing the violin and the harmonica when I was four years old. In my adolescent years I spent most of my time traveling with my father's bluegrass band and eventually found my place in a Soulful choir in N.C. Harmonizing is my niche. I enjoy listening, playing and teaching blues, country, soul, funk and gospel music. I have taught music for over 8 years and am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
The first lesson is to assess what level you are starting from. If you are at the very beginning, we will start with proper posture and technique. The first few lessons may feel basic, but we will build each future lesson to achieve your goal at becoming an expert. Each lesson will help to build your confidence and empower you to move forward and reach your music goals.

Suzuki method education in violin and piano. Music Theory and Appreciation 2 years.
Performing Experience:
I have 20 years of vocal experience and 10 years of performing and teaching guitar. I was awarded Best Solo and Alto singer in chorus. Special performances have been with my fathers band Soul Talk, singing at church, weddings, parties and special event appearances. Over the past couple years I've had the privilege to sing back up for a few amazing singers that perform in and around Atlanta.
Experience Teaching:
Four years of teaching private lessons in your home. I have taught voice, guitar, beginner piano and violin, ages 10 and up. I have also worked with students doing music therapy. Two years experience teaching kids and adults with disabilities.
