Mary is a freelance percussionist, educator, and composer in the Chicagoland area. Mary studied percussion performance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As a Merit Scholarship Recipient, she studied percussion under the tutelage of William Moersch and Ricardo Flores. Preceding her years at the University, she studied with Walt Schneider for 6 years. Mary is experienced in performing a wide array of styles such as classical percussion, contemporary, Latin, jazz, and many more. Professionally, Mary has performed with the Sinfonia da Camera, the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra, and the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I understand that all students aren't created equal. I like to incorporate lesson plans that are unique to each individual student. I've worked with students with disabilities in the past and I like to make sure EVERYONE feels comfortable and welcome. I have experience preparing students for IL-MEA auditions, Solo & Ensemble, and numerous other competitions/auditions. Whether it's learning an advanced marimba solo or learning your favorite track on drum set-I can help you get there!
