Music is my passion. The only thing that compares in that level of passion is sharing it by showing others how to unlock the music from within them. Improvisation is my main focus, being able to play one's heart song, the music that comes from the soul, the music of the moment, the art of the jam. I have played music since I was 6 years old and have had various teachers over the years. Once I gained a solid understanding of music theory and good practice habits, I was able to start picking up many instruments on my own, such as the saxophone, violin, ukulele, and sitar. In my lessons I focus on guidance rather than instruction - I hear out my students and show them what they need to work on to attain their goals. In my personal life, I get the most satisfaction out of playing with people people, jamming, flowing, playing for my artist friends and dancer friends in close quarters where we all inspire each other in the moment. Music is everywhere, it is everything. Music is the flow of life, and we use sound vibrations to express it in a way that is understood by all.
