Raised in Nashville Tennessee, Drew pretty much grew up with a guitar in his hands. He began playing in the fifth grade and was privileged to continue his education throughout grade school with various Nashville artists, teachers and music camps. He is lucky to have played in various amateur bands in Texas, Ohio, Washington, D.C. and Texas. Drew is most familiar with alternative music and indie rock. A big fan of live music, you can frequently catch him seeing shows all over Austin. When taking lessons with Drew, you can expect a laid back approach that will instill the fun of learning-sprinkling in history lessons and popular riffs in addition to technicaly proficiency. His five favorite bands are Radiohead, The Beatles, Deerhunter, Fleet Foxes, and Sonic Youth. His favorite guitarists are Josh Homme, Thurston Moore, John Mayer, Neils Cline, and John Frusciante.
