My name is Tex. I’m a multi-instrumentalist originally from Houston. I was a nationally touring guitarist, big band jazz pianist, and all around hired gun musician for anything from music videos and fill in gigs, to session work and tours across the country in every genre from pop and country to jazz and metal. I’ve been teaching since I was 18 and have taught children as young as 4 and adults in their 60s with everything in between. My approach to teaching is finding out my students goals and helping them reach them rather than giving them arbitrary work and teaching them things they have no interest in. I’ll get you there.
