My name is Dan and I've been playing bass for more than 25 years. I have traveled to every part of the U.S. and parts of the world playing music. I have had the opportunity to play alongside some very famous folks and some not as famous folks. My ability to play bass has allowed me to provide a living for myself and my family and to see things I wouldn't have experienced if I wasn't playing. Music has allowed me to be independent and at the same time allowed me to work with some incredible musicians and people I am grateful. When I graduated from Evergreen State in 2014, I started giving private instruction and discovered that I like teaching and that I'm a good teacher as well. Patience and respect is very important in the relationship between teacher and student, I feel it should be mutual. I would like the opportunity to teach you how to play bass and teach how bass should be played in all style with the emphasis on holding down the groove and allowing the band to shine.
