About Me

Justin began playing trumpet in the 6th grade and continued to play through high school, upon graduating he performed with Music City Drum and Bugle Corps in the summer of 2012. He attended East Tennessee State University where he studied music education and was privately instructed by Dr. David Champouillon. He performed in the ETSU wind ensemble, concert band, jazz band, trumpet ensemble, pep band and The Marching Bucs. While in the Marching Bucs served as drum major. During his time at ETSU worked with several local high school band programs. After graduating from ETSU was awarded a position in the U.S. Army band but declined to teach band at Chuckey-Doak high school and he continues to maintain a private studio.
