Joshua J.

Joshua is a bass player, music director, arranger, and songwriter. From a young age he had a gift for music, starting on various percussion instruments related to his Puerto Rican heritage, as well as guitar, and keyboard. His gift wasn't truly sparked until he picked up a bass in 2005. At this time he was enrolled into "RCA" (Regional Center for the Arts in Trumbull, CT ) where he learned the basics of Music Theory. He became proficient in many styles of music. In 2009 he traveled with the "Central Gospel Choir" to Virginia Beach, VA, where they competed in the Fiestaval music/choir competition against over 500 choirs; he received a trophy for "best musical accompaniment" and medal for "Best Bass". He began playing for many different Christian artists, which then opened doors for him nationally, and internationally. Playing at many arenas, some of the country's biggest churches, as-well as Christian television networks (such as the "church channel", "TBN", "the Word network", and "Daystar"). He is currently an active studio bass player, as well as the Music Director and Lead Bass Player for Journey Church in Cleveland, OH. He has toured, and recorded live with Intl. Gospel recording artist Eddie James(Capitol/EMI). He has also played for Catherine Mullins, Karen Wheaton, Judy Jacobs, Ruthie Ridley (Jesus Culture), Ramp Worship, Recording Artist Joann Rosario, Martha Munizzi, Jesus Culture/Bethel Church and others. He currently endorses MTD Bass USA & Kingston, Gruvgear, Genzler amplification, and Island Bell Ukulele
