About Me
Steven began playing music at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further by studying music at Texas State University for a short time. He gained performance experience in the Austin area by playing at such venues as Antone's and House of Blues in Dallas. He's played with acts such as Darkness Divided and shared a stage with Stevie Ray Vaughn's brother, Jimmy Vaughn. Though Steven can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are blues, classical and rock, which had great influence on his style of playing. Steven loves music because it provides a creative outlet as well as instills patience and discipline in those who indulge themselves. Steven loves teaching music because it brings people together and is a skill everyone can learn and use to express themselves uniquely. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Steven can help you expand and enhance your playing. Steven is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals.
