    I have been playing the guitar since 1971. I was self taught for twenty years during which time I achieved a fast technique and worked with some top professional acts.

    I then studied music formally and thoroughly with private teachers, focussing on jazz, technique, and sight reading. I did not need to study blues or rock as I could already play those styles well.

    I now play many different styles including, rock, blues, jazz, folk and country. I have always written and sung my own material as well as performing and singing solo versions of many popular songs by other artists.

    I've always been considered one of the best guitarists around wherever I've lived. As a teacher, I have had exceptional results. I've even had good results with students who do not have a natural ability for the guitar. I have never had a student who has not learned to play.
