Hi, my name is Malcolm and I am a percussionist from Houston, TX. I have been a student of music for over a decade. My musical influences include Milt, Horace Silver, Bill Evans, Tchaikovsky, George Bizet, Kevin Bobo, Evelyn Glennie, Nujabes, and Oddisee, just to name a few. Over the years, I have developed my skills further by performing with various ensembles and groups in the United States. Though I can teach many different genres of music, my musical personal favorites are contemporary music, orchestral, improvisation, and jazz, which had great influence on my style of playing. When taking lessons with me, you can expect to focus on developing and becoming a well-rounded musician.
