Hi, my name is Kason and I am a keyboard/ piano teacher from New Jersey. I have been a student of music for 16 years. My musical influences include jazz/gospel and I also enjoy classical as well. My teaching style can best be described as precise and on point. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I just want everyone to enjoy playing. In my lessons, you can expect to learn to ply what you feel correctly as well as what you hear. I like to tell my students practice makes perfect. My favorite thing about teaching is progress. My favorite performance was playing behind Tye and James Fortune. My students love that I actually do performances. I primarily teach piano/keyboard for gospel and jazz, but I can also teach strict technique and different musical approaches. My approach as a teacher is to make learning and plying fun.
